What better way to celebrate Christmas other than running around in the woods bright and early? We will meet at my (Rachel White’s) house around 7 AM-ish for a run through Westchester, Scholastica Woods and probably Chester too, then reconvene at my house for a breakfast potluck for afters.
Note the 3pm start time! It is New Year’s Day so I thought we can start a little earlier and see each other in the daylight. We will meet at the Hutchinson lot and do a loop in Piedmont somewhere between 3-5 miles. All paces and distances welcome. After TBD!
We don’t cancel often. This winter, we had to cancel once. Last winter had no full cancels, but one run was downgraded from a trail run to a snowshoe due to trail conditions. It was Brewer both times. We are currently Brewer deficient, and looking to fix that.
We will meet 6pm at the Fredrick Paine lot off of Beck’s road pictured on the map. The trails have been packed and groomed so it should be some pretty sweet running. 3-5 miles is what we will shoot for. All paces and distances are welcome! After Buffalo house or Grandview!
