Milltown Milers
A very long lasting run club, friendly people. Some capable runners, but more beginner friendly than other groups (personal opinion, not saying other groups are not beginner friendly, but this stands out as more beginner friendly than the others) You have to check their Facebook or Strava, they change runs every week. Tuesdays at 5:30pm, afters sometimes, varying locations.
Hoops
Probably the group I see talked about the most in social media. Friendly people. Kind’ve our sister group, we occasionally meet up together for events. Their leader, Sarah, is doing a great job of growing Duluth’s running community as a whole, not just their own group. They meet Thursdays at 6pm. Afters at Hoops.
Tortoise and the Hare
Every Wednesday at 6pm, usually at dovetail with the occasional other start spot. Connected to the tortoise and the hare shoe store, so can have interesting shoe demos or other things. Afters at dovetail usually.
Superior Running Club
Superior based run club on a varying schedule. Have to check Facebook or Strava to see when their runs are. Smaller than most, which has its own appeal.
WURD
Faster than most public run clubs. And this group tends to cluster up together a lot more than the other groups that usually spread out. Very friendly, not the elitist attitudes you might guess from how fast some of its members are. They meet every monday at 5:30pm at the rose garden
Coffee Club Run
Looks like this group runs Tuesdays 6:30 AM and meets at Amity Coffee. It is listed on Duluth Running Company’s Strava page, so has some association with them. I have never been able to go because I work mornings.
Midweek Run Club
Looks like they meet Wednesdays at 7am at Back Alley- 2409 W Superior St for a 3 mile run. I haven’t been able to get to this one either, I work weekday mornings.
She Runs This Town Duluth/Superior
Women only run club. I don’t know when/where they run because their stuff is set to private.
Fit4Mom
Another woman only run club. I talked to someone who said they were doing stuff in April. So hoping it is still going? Set to private, so no real way to check if it is.
Norther Minnesota Track Club
Not really a “run club” but a set of free races. There is a spring series and a fall series. Tons of people show up. They do a few paid races, but enough free ones that I think of it as a running group kinda.
Mediocre Art Runners
This is kind of a collection of groups. We do monthly art runs and often members of other groups come. I really like the idea of bringing all the running groups together.
Place Holder
Probably forgot at least one. Feel free to contact mediocre trail runners to add your group to the list.
