We started in Enger. Looked like a fun group before it even started ๐ some faces that don’t come that often. Everyone had been here before, and most people knew each other even if some specific people hadn’t met we didn’t do formal introductions, just a few small ones.
Jennifer came back, and I didn’t recognize her. I felt pretty embarrassed about that one ๐
It was suggested that we start by going uphill first, and down hill on the way back. But, even though there was some uphill nearby, every path looked like it was going to be mostly the reverse of that, but started out anyway.
There was some berry picking on the way. The group seems to really enjoy finding wild berries.

I spent basically the entire time with the back of the packers. But the group kept rotating, so it kept being different.
We went by twin ponds. I could swear I used to go swimming there as a kid, but it looks completely different now.
Back at the parking lot, tons of people brought snacks. I think this was our biggest snack pile yet. Ashley brought a corn relish something that seemed to be a big hit and rather unique.

Maddie suggested we watch a video about a race people did, where they take the drop bags leftover from a different race and each person gets one at random. and after every lap they have to eat or use something from the drop bag. It was a few months after the race, so all the spoilables were pretty gross. Pretty entertaining video.
We discussed the lost forester a bit. It is the sunday after this, so this weekend is the time to get everything set if it isn’t. People brought the leftovers home, I don’t think anything went to waste. Another fun day, and another week to wait looking forward to the next one.
