June 2024 Kite run: a couple people ran ahead and missed a turn, caught them before we got too far but cutting through the ally made a line wonky. Fun times though.

November 2024 Hand Turkey Inspiration: The picture that started it all. I couldn’t convince someone else to organize a group for a hand turkey art run, so I just started inviting people and was overjoyed when people showed up 😀

November 2024, Hand Turkey: Holding up our hands for the hand turkey. I used a tripod for the picture, and didn’t realize how bad the back lighting was until checking the pictures after. But this is the group that started the Duluth Mediocre Art Runners.

Hand Turkey Finished Product, Nov 2024. I was so confused when we got to the bottom of the feet and everyone ran in different directions. It turns out they were drawing feet.

Christmas Tree 2024. The first art run in costume. We got to the top of the hill and tried to freehand a star in the school playground. After we got to afters at Sir Ben’s, Nate got a message from his friend asking why he and a group of people, including Santa, ran to the playground, split up in different directions, and then ran away. Great day!

January 2025, first art run of the new year. I thought the fist idea was pretty clever.

I’m wearing a New year’s baby costume because the original plan was something New Year’s related. Ended up on Martin Luther King day. Very cold day, these people are awesome for showing up.

February 2025: I got honked at so many times in my cupid costume. It was just my diaper costume reused, but with a halo and wings this time. Kelly tried to put herself in the halo. Lonna ended up in the halo randomly. Fun day, cold day, and snowbanks had us on the side of the road.

We drew a clover. I thought it was just too clever to wear a leprechaun costume and carry around a box of lucky charms since everyone was following me. I used the box to stash maps to hand out to people. Many strangers were very confused that day.

Special Guest artist: Dot!!! That bunny costume was a sauna suit. I am more proud than I should be about how well I posed in the suit. Fun day running around Duluth with friends 😀
