Magne-Trail Runners Edition June 12th

We went up to Magne in Duluth and ran a pretty technical and somewhat long (for us) trail, about 5 1/2 miles. Mostly single file, pretty much only changing the lineup at pauses or when Ethan got some energy and wanted to burst ahead. Somewhat chilly left a lot of us wanting hot chocolate afterwards. Kelly made and brought some delicious homemade cookies. Greybeard passed on some supplies for the “Lost Forester” race we are organizing in his absence while he is off adventuring on his bike trip.

We went to Grand View (formerly dry dock) and hung out later than normal. I was tired the next day, I think a lot of us probably were. Conversation topics included what to do for a logo, what should be do for the website, who is doing Grandma’s next week, and if anyone was going to the 50/50 mystery ultra (Solon Springs) which it sounds like a few of us might be going to. As always, we talked about our recent running adventures.

Looking forward to next week. Park point is always fun. Although no mention of Lake Jumping has been made yet, it isn’t out of the question there. Meeting Hoops after at their home base.

Talks of Kelley doing an adult lemonade stand for the group at some point in the future, including iced coffee, cookies, or other things adults apparently eat and drink.

It might not sound like it, but it was some really good conversation. I absolutely love spending time with these people <3
